According to a German website Europolitan.de Real Madrid have agreed a fee with Bayern Munich for winger Franck Ribery.

Europolitan.de’ has learned from inside sources at Bayern Munich, that a gentleman’s agreement between Real Madrid and FC Bayern exists according to which Ribery will head to Real in the summer for approximately 50 million euros.

Ribery who came close to joining Real last summer and is now ready to leave Bayern at the end of the season with his contract having less than 18 months to run.

Bayern president Hoeness had his real strategy, however, already announced last week in an interview with the “evening newspaper” when RibĂ©ry not renewed his contract in the spring, saying:

“It would be economically irresponsible to keep him, because he is a free transfer in 2011. Then we would give away 50 to 60 million euros. “
