As Lampard’s clinical finish seemed to cement Chelsea’s position at top of the table, Carlos Tevez’s run resulted in comedy of errors as the ball just slipped past Hilario’s outstretched hand, Bellamy shot past the keeper to made it 2-1

Tevez scored a penalty after Belletti was shown a straight red for tripping Barry before Bellammy tapped in to seal a famous victory for Manchester City

Chelsea were reduced to 9 men as Ballack saw red for a second bookable offence. Lampard scored from the spot to make it 4-2
