Mafia Wars: From Moscow with Love!

Moscow is up and running. I couldnt wait to lay my hands on the new city and the first thing I did in my office today: Completed first chapter of Moscow . Lets familiarize ourselves with Moscow.

To kick start your life in Moscow your character should be at least Level 70, otherwise you will have to wait to see the new city.

As expected, Moscow has a new currency i-e Rubles (R$), so all of your NewYork Billions and Cuban Millions are rendered ineffective. When you travel to Moscow and go to the jobs section you will notice that each Job-level is termed as Episode and the first one is Baklany. Here you can do the first two jobs Smuggle Consumer Electronics for the Vory and Arrange A Drug Shipment for the Mafiya with New York items i-e
a delivery truck and a town car respectively.

Now you come to the third job of episode 1, it is Fight Off An Ultra-National Gang this job takes 99 energy and yield only 127 experience with 3% job mastery, so I suggest you should get help from friends to get the job mastered. Now you will be needed to buy two new items from inventory i-e:

a dubina and a mototsykl

These first three jobs are termed as Chapter 1. After completing the chapter 1 of episode 1 you come to a tricky choice. You will have to choose the Vory or the Mafia and proceed with either Kidnap A Local Gang Leader for the Vory or Kill A Local Gang Leader for the Mafiya. This choice is important as it will change the course of your game. So all mafia players playing Moscow will split into two.

The Vory has a code of honor and works like an actual family.. much like a group of gypsies banding together.. helping, teaching, robbing and thieving, even taking blame for each other in protection..
It may be that our alliances and friendships can play a key role for each other in this game.
This side seems to have potential for a lot of unity for a group.. sticking together.. depending on each other.. Fighting for our survival is to win for our family, to boldly take what we need, yet limiting the violence.
The strength is not just alone, but in this unity and in the principle of the Vory code.

RUSSIAN MAFIYA: Organized Crime Lords

The Mafia seems to be more of the power and danger and to be feared type of mentality.. fight to win and do whatever it takes, murder, trafficking, and will probably rob too, unless they are not allowed to by the game..
They say forget the old code of honor, this is about survival today, and everyone is going down.
They want their mafia of organized crime to be seen as the strongest in the game, and may stop at nothing to get the influence and power that they desire.

I think its enough for today . My next blog will focus on differences he known differences between the two tiers, categorized Episode-wise so you will be able to decide which option gives you better weapons and greater experience.
