Relegation contender Portsmouth’s transfer plea has been rejected by the Premier League

The cash strapped club requested for permission to sell players outside the transfer window

Premier League board has decided it would “not be appropriate” to grant the request

World football’s governing body and the rule maker, FIFA has said it will look into the request made by Portsmouth who have debts in the region of £60m
