Son of Liverpool owner resigns as Director
The son of Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks has resigned as a director of the club.
Liverpool announced that Tom Hicks Jr has also resigned from club’s parent company, Kop Holdings
The decision came as a result of a row with a supporter who claimed that Hicks Jr has sent him abusive emails
The Spirit of Shankly, a group of fans committed to the removal of Hicks Sr and Gillett, had called for Hicks Jr to resign on Sunday
